Greetings and salutations!
Welcome to the in-between! We are officially in those 7 days where Santa isn't watching and we are on our own to reflect on the old year and prepare for the new. This year, I am grateful to say we are better prepared than ever to review and recharge...Don't think so? Hear me out. We've had nearly a year worth of opportunities to reconsider what we truly need to be happy. Things we once [perhaps] took for granted are now front and center. Things we thought we couldn't live without, suddenly, not as essential. This year has been full of opportunities to recognize and re-sort.
This week is our chance to decide: what will we keep and carry with us to the new year and what can stay behind? Taking some time to reflect this week on what you have gained/learned/discovered is energy worth spending. These don't need to be epic or mind-blowing revelations -- just small observations -- Maybe even write them down...
Maybe as you consider what to keep, you also come up with a few items to leave behind: a hurt, a worry, a concern -- something that has run its course and served it's purpose but no longer needs to be in your brain or your heart as you walk into the new year. Write it down and then decide what happens next.
Once you've done that hard work, you may need a treat or two. We have you covered:

Begin your year with laughter and light. Set your intentions for 2021 with a clear mind and open heart through a gentle, accessible movement practice, guided meditation, and deep relaxation. Emerge refreshed and ready to tackle the new year. Bring something to write with/on as we will devote some of our practice to reflection as we chart the course ahead. Recommended props: Chair, Blanket, Anything that supports your practice/brings you comfort, Something to write with/on. Register here.

Yoga 4 Cancer moves to Mondays at 7pm
Chair Yoga moves to Fridays at 11am
Friday evenings will feature Yin Yoga and Gentle Vinyasa yoga on an alternating basis...

In the days to come, we each chart our course for The Adventure known as 2021. Take some times this week to decide what to pack for the journey. Reflect on what brought you light this year and be sure to bring it with you. At the end of the week, join me on your mat for New Year's Day Celebration Yoga and we can begin this adventure together :)
