Friends, it's October. We made it. Congratulations and let's get straight to it. This month is chock full -- let's review:

Although it IS Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I do hope you will encourage your loved ones to go for their screenings -- I do hope you will do a little more. Raising awareness and encouraging screenings are only part of what we need if we truly want to end cancer. So... I encourage you to VOTE. That's right. VOTE.

You didn't see that coming did you? You thought I was going to suggest you support Living Beyond Breast Cancer or come to Community Donation Celebration Yoga to support ZERO: The End of Prostate Cancer.

Let's be clear. I want you to join us on 10.17.20 but before that, please make sure you have registered to vote and set up your action plan for voting. How, When, Where, will you vote?

Vote for MORE research to bring an end to cancer AND improve our ability to diagnose AND treat.

Research your candidates to be sure you are supporting those who will not just wear a ribbon but actually fund the work we need done so everyone facing this disease has access to information, support, and treatment.

Join us for a beginner friendly yoga celebration of peace, joy, love, and light. Do you have an open heart and a willing spirit? Then this practice is for you! While class is free, we do ask for a donation. This time we celebrate and all proceeds go to: ZERO: The End of Prostate Cancer. Your donation to ZERO will be used toward research, local grants, early detection, patient support, debt relief, and spreading awareness.

Adventure Yoga: An Evening with Edgar [Allan Poe] What would have happened if Edgar Allan Poe were introduced to Restorative Yoga? On 10.24 you can discover for yourself. This gentle supported practice is suitable for anyone with a weary skeleton.

October's Adventure will pair the magic of Restorative Yoga with the patron of Halloween: Edgar Allan Poe. Gather your blankets, beach towels, and pillows and prepare to reanimate your corpse through a series of gentle, long held shapes, fully supported by your very own hand crafted pillow forts. No prior experience with Restorative Yoga is needed but a love of Edgar Allan Poe wouldn't hurt.

Celebrating Halloween from the comfort of your crypt? Join us for Halloween Gentle Vinyasa.

In this all levels class, we will face our fears, bolster our bones, mash with the monsters, and strengthen our spirits. This class is suitable for ghouls, goblins, ghosts, vampires, witches, werewolves, mummies, and monsters of all ages. Guaranteed to reanimate your corpse--costumes encouraged but not required. $PWYC
